Stroschein & Pehlke Birth Towns

Johann (John) Stroschein was from Hohenkirch (now Ksiazki in Poland) in West Prussia which was part of the Germany empire. Gustina Pehlke lived just south of Hohenkirch in Piwnitz (now Piwnice in Poland). You can see it inside the red circle on the second map just below Honenkirch. Gottfried Strohschein, John Stroschein's father was from Budziszewo (underlined in red) West Prussia was given to Poland after the end of WWI. The first map shows where Hohenkirch  (now Ksiazki) is in Poland. It is about 75 miles south of the Baltic Sea and about 250 miles east of Berlin, Germany. The second map is a portion of Poland that shows the towns with their Prussian name and the current Polish name.
