Arthur William Bruckner
Arthur was the sixth child of Lewis and Augusta Bruckner. Arthur liked to travel as a young man. He tapped maple trees in Vermont, rode a train down south, and worked in the gold camps in Happy Camp, CA. He married Eleanore Reynolds in California and had two children, Anne and Mary. He designed and built buildings, and a major medical complex while simultaneously managing several partnerships, pharmacies, and a real estate corporation and architectural firm. He was a dedicated employee and remarkable achiever for someone with only a rural education. He was a good golfer and loved to garden and could grow just about anything. Arthur and his wife both died in California; his wife in 1964 and Arthur in 1993.
